barullo a la orilla evokes a continuous desire for intimacy with the coastline, a coveted space shaped by dispossession and resistance. Using sequences of String Figures—ancient, playful designs crafted from a single string to create patterns—visual dialogues are established, interconnecting the archipelagos and unveiling the tensions between ancestral practices and extractivist ones. From a cartographic approach, a speculative and contemplative spatial trajectory is choreographed, examining both the decay and abundance of the territory.
